Assessing your level of French

According to a study on Qualité français langue étrangère certified centres performed by BVA in 2015 and funded jointly by the Ministry for Culture and Communications (DGLFLF), the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and International Development (French language and education mission) and the CIEP, the majority of students coming to France to study are at A2 level. That said, you are sure to find a class to suit you, regardless of your level.

The Parlons français, c'est facile ! website enables you to test your level, from beginner to advanced.

Some centres also offer French tests on their websites.
